When we purchased our old house in the Blue Ridge mountains, it came with a family of feral (wild) yellow cats. I tamed some, raised some babies on bottles, and lost a few. They are very much a part of my life in the tiny village of Linville Falls, NC. So, when I added a small studio next to our home, it was named in honor of the resident cats.

It's been a long journey to pursue my lifelong dreams of art and photography. As for many of us, everyday life got in the way. Now, it's a work of love to capture the beauty that surrounds us in the mountains and beaches of North Carolina, and the wild glens of Scotland.
